During the 2013 Summer Legislative Session, Supervisors were allotted more flexibility in how their county may conduct Early Voting including flexible dates, hours and locations.
“Our goal with the increase in Early Voting days and hours for this election, is to encourage all of our voters to get out and vote early. We hope with the extended days and hours, voters will find an opportunity in their schedule to cast their ballot early if they are unavailable on November 4th,” – Jennifer J. Edwards, Supervisor of Elections.
Some other changes in Early Voting includes a new location at the North Collier Regional Park off of Livingston Rd and some relocations of polling sites including a change from Naples City Hall to Norris Center near Cambier Park, Golden Gate Community Center, rather than the Golden Gate Library, and Immokalee Community Park, instead of the Immokalee Library.
