It was our main literary hub for many years and now the old Golden Gate Library has a new name and purpose – Golden Gate Senior Center. It is great to see this old friend get a second chance.

Now you will get a chance to tour the facility and meet Program Director Tatiana Fortune M.S.W. who will tell us more about what services are being offered and how you might get involved. Bring a friend, or a senior neighbor to see what is offered at this great new resource.

We will meet at the senior center , just west of the Community Center –  Click here for directions and map

“Neighborhood Clean Sweep”

We are so close, but we still need more to begin the training sessions for Neighborhood Clean Sweep. Can you imagine what 20 volunteers working our neighborhood can do to improve our property values and make our streets cleaner and safer?

Fill out the form by clicking here, then walk or drive around your neighborhood block on your way home, after dinner, or early in the morning. Take note of problems and then pass along the information to find solutions. If you belong to a service/church group that you feel would like to assist, please let me know so we can include them in our efforts.

Be a super hero for your neighborhood by becoming a block captain. With your help, this will be our community’s best year ever!
