Let’s Make the Gate Great!
It sure seems like a good time to make this our community the best it’s ever been.
How do we do that?
We need a bunch of us to help, just a little, and here’s how you can help.
This year, we want to set up our community into smaller sections with team captains to help us improve our individual neighborhoods within Golden Gate.
We have coordinated with the Golden Gate Sheriff’s substation commander, JJ Carroll, and are ready to take the next steps. We need your eyes, ears, and a bit of your time to move forward.
The plan is to observe our small section of the community, to take note of problems, and then pass along the information to find proper solutions. This could include getting area churches and service groups to help paint or fix up a home where an older, or single adult home owner doesn’t have the means to improve their home on their own.
If you notice a blatant improper activity, we want to know so we can use the proper authorities to remove problem situations from our community.
If you belong to a service/church group that you feel would like to assist, please let me know so we can include them in our efforts.
Please let me know you want to help, either by participating, or becoming a block captain.

Monday’s Meeting – February 9th
This month’s featured speaker will be District 3 School Board Representative Erika Donalds, who represents our community on the Collier County School Board.
Erika is Controller and Partner at Dalton, Greiner, Hartman, Maher & Co., LLC (DGHM), a New York-based investment group. She graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Accounting and has a Masters in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Global Management Accountant (CGMA).
Erika and her husband Byron moved to Naples in 2002 and are active in their community, using their business backgrounds to counsel families in the areas of budgeting, financial planning and credit restoration. They are active members of Living Word Family Church of Naples and have three sons, Damon (10), Darin (6) and Mason (2).
We look forward to hearing from Erika and having the opportunity to share any concerns or questions from our membership.
